Network with your peers while you learn best practices and take away lessons you can implement immediately in your classroom.

The compressed two-week schedule allows you to mix and match classes to earn one to four college credits in just two weeks. (Four college credits satisfies all 60 required OPI renewal requirements!)

How To Register:

  1. Download the registration form and non-degree application form;
  2. Complete the forms and return to FVCC via mail, email or fax as noted on the registration form.
    NOTE: There is no online registration or application process for this special event.  If you have not attended FVCC within the last year, or have never attended FVCC, a Non-Degree Application for Admission is required in addition to the registration form.

Schedule:

Week 1 – June 13 – 17

  • Supporting Students with Extreme Behaviors, 9 am to 12 pm (EDU 294u – 1 credit)
  • Integrating Technology- Including Google Classroom, 9 am to 12 pm (EDU 294i – 1 credit)
  • Reading Support for Pre K-3: Phonics, 1 pm to 4 pm (EDU 294s – 1 credit)
  • Reading Strategies: Teaching Struggling Readers (4 -8), 1 pm to 4 pm (EDU 294y – 1 credit)

Week 2 – June 20 – 24

  • Hands-on Science, 9am to 12 pm (EDU 294t – 1 credit)
  • Integrating Technology- Including Google Classroom, 9 am to 12 pm (EDU 294i – 1 credit)
  • Supporting Students with Extreme Behaviors, 1 pm to 4 pm (EDU 294u – 1 credit)
  • Reading Support for Pre K – 3: Vocabulary Instruction, 1 pm to 4 pm (EDU 294x – 1 credit)
  • The Workshop Model, 1 pm to 4 pm (EDU 294dz – 1 credit)

As a Teacher Camp participant, you will also receive lunch each day, and of course, s’mores!

In-district fees apply to residents of Flathead County or Lincoln County, or those who own property/pay taxes within those counties.  Out-of-district fees apply to other Montana residents.  See the Teacher Camp brochure for fees.
