Program Overview:

FVCC will travel to Costa Rica to study field botany over the spring to summer intersession. The group will visit unique ecological zones: volcanoes, the cloud forest area of Las Vueltas, and the Rain Forest region of the Osa Peninsula. Participants in the 13-day program will be immersed in pristine jungle settings and reside in rustic forest lodges and biological research station dormitories. Botany Professor Mirabai McCarthy, Ph.D., will lead students into primary and secondary tropical forests in one of the most ecologically diverse countries in the world. Open to all FVCC students 18 and older with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Deposit Amount: $ 1,000 (due February 1, 2017, 100% refundable until March 1.
Final Payment: balance due April 1, 50% refundable until April 15, 0% refundable after April 15
