The Music Department curriculum provides students entry-level skills to specialize in teaching, performing, composing, conducting, digitizing, producing and managing programs in the field of music.  Students are offered a broad music education while completing the General Education Requirements.  The music program supports FVCC’s mission to provide an enriched cultural environment for our students and the community.  Non-music majors are welcome to enroll in ensembles and music courses as electives and general education requirements.

The Music Department at Flathead Valley Community College offers dynamic transfer areas of study in music, preparing students for the first two years of a bachelor’s degree.
